Mountain Abbey Ale Bread Pudding

Method


Preheat oven to 350*

In a small sauce pan, reduce 1 cup of Mountain Abbey Ale until it is 1/2 cup volume. Let cool.

In a large mixing bowl, combine cream, milk, sugar, reduced beer, eggs, vanilla, nutmeg and mix well. Add in bread cubes and chocolate chips, mix lightly to coat bread and let soak for 30-40 minutes.

Lightly butter 8×8 baking dish, and place in soaked bread mixture. Place into the oven and bake for 45 minutes, until top is nicely toasted. Remove from heat and let cool.

Serve with vanilla ice cream if desired. Makes 6-8 servings.
